Yarn

Yarn

These skeins of yarn are 70 to 100% alpaca yarn from our animals on the ranch. Our animals are shorn in April each year and the fleece is sent to a mill with instructions as to how to mix our animals' fibers (each animal's fiber is inspected for length, handle, micron, and color to maximize the final blended yarn's look and quality).  Multiple Oklahoma ranches' alpacas may be combined to make these yarns some of the softest, natural alpaca yarns possible. Colors can either be "dyed" to suit OR can be of other natural dyed fibers such as silk, merino wool or bamboo. Some of the skeins have been dyed here on the ranch ourselves!

Rugs

Yarn

These rugs are 100% alpaca and woven by a shop in Paint Rock Texas. They are made of what is termed "seconds" from the shorn animals in that they are likely from the neck and legs of the animal. Durable and usually 100% natural colors (more than 20 natural fiber colors from the alpaca....)

This is a sample of artwork from Sheila. These one-of-a-kind uniquely dry needle felted pieces of art are hand made with a combinations of alpaca and wool fibers. Many of these  fibers have been hand dyed here on the ranch and used to create a series of wildlife and pasture scenes. Other works of art include salmon, deer as well as wheat field, mountain and barnyard scenery. Sizes range from 5"x5" to 11"x17". Classes are offered.  See website for class schedules or call Sheila at 405-226-9005
